On the other hand, it won't make a difference anyway. Just give the masses bread and games so the politicians on both sides of the aisle keep their power. Nothing else really matters until the whole thing collapses.

Lol, that's funny. I've always believed vision and standards begin to fail around 11pm. You add alcohol to the mix.... It's just a wonder more of us didn't end up in a diaper in some hotel room lol

Obviously I get and find the joke funny. But, just to make sure the record I straight, I gather (I wasn't thet holding the flashlight) that his fetish has nothing to do with a drunken stupor. He returned frequently to the same ugly whore and reinacted the same fetish.
I am coming to accept the harsh and shameful reality that my president is probably going to be a game show host and my governor a diaper wearing ugly whore chaser. That is the best we can do. Nothing else needs to be said to know what state the union is in.

This situation speaks to how screwed up the GOP is on a state level. (The national GOP is worse)
Vitter declares he is running so the state Republican big wigs give him the nod.
Somebody explain to me why Vitter wants to be governor when being a US Senator is more prestigious.

I can't bring myself to vote for Vitter. Angelle can't string together a full paragraph without mentioning LSU and Dardenne looks like a muppet (which is not as concerning as his close ties to Jindal). JBE is a democrat who's sure to dump the aspects of his candidacy that I like most should he ever aspire to national office. I think I'm just gonna write in DFM and be done with it.

It's been a debate for decades which is more prestigious, being a governor or senator. It depends on which state you are talking about and other factors.

I'm not even a repug anymore, and I and everyone I know of in my extended family early voted for Vitter. I'd have voted for him twice if I could.
