For this year, at least.

I have. Graduated 2016 and worked in The Woodlands, TX for 2 years while my wife did an orthodontics residency. Now we've moved to Hattiesburg (her home town) to start a family and practices.

My mistake :)

For these reasons, UAB has already won the division. It doesn’t matter what we do at this point; Tech will not win the division, which is a prerequisite to win the conference. If USM would have beat UAB, that would have been a different story. That’s not what happened though. Here are the tiebreaker rules from CSUA:

Re: UAB Wins The Division
While I have nothing for UAB due to all the advantages they have been provided in multiple sports, sitting here watching their game against Texas A&M I am impressed with their desire to win. These guys are playing hard, and in several cases are lighting into teammates who don't do their jobs on critical plays. Really admire the competitive fire. Pretty sure if the FG kicker missed a chip-shot, there would be no high fives or slaps on the butt.

An extra 15 years of experience helps.

I second this. I actually commented about our kicker doing this in the USM thread. When the kicker misses a short field goal attempt, he cannot be the one who instigates handshakes and ass slaps. If his teammates (who he let down) want to shake his had or slap his ass after that pitiful performance, more power to them, but for god sake, it was disgusting to see this. It was like our kicker was subliminally saying "hey, I just missed a very makeable field goal attempt that would have changed the outcome the game; I let my teammates and the fans down, and it's 100% okay that I didn't do my job." Dude... hang your head down low and walk your ass back to the sidelines. I know that the guy is human, but it would have been nice to see a little ownership. Ferguson screwed up, but did you see him shaking hands with teammates afterward? The guy knew he messed up, and you could tell that he knew he let the team down.

There's a fine line between "we're still teammates, everyone screws up" and "eh, whatever, no biggie."
Skip usually falls on the "no biggie" side and I think it infects the team.

Agreed.
