Heard that Parker’s Chapel, in El Dorado, was winning their game tonight by around 30 points. The opposing team, Bearden(?), walked off the field at the end of the 3rd quarter. If my kid played on that team, they would all walk home and the coach would be lucky if he ever coached anywhere again after something like that.
What was the circumstances of Bearden walking off? Anyone know?Quote:

My junior high team was beating an opponent 35-0 and their coach pulled his team in the middle of the 3rd qtr. Not because of the score but because they were so over-matched we were blowing up every play. Their OL was so weak our entire front 7 was meeting at the QB every snap. No joke. Their coach was afraid one of his players was going to get seriously hurt.

Haughton lost their first game of the season to Airline, 22-19.
It seems like Airline has become to Haughton what USM is to Tech. The Bucs haven't beat Airline since 2014.

Hope Ruston can keep up the winning with district playing beginning. Their OOC schedule was brutal this year. My Sophomore son has gotten quite a bit of playing time these past two weeks with the big wins.
