Re: 2020 Season - Covid Edition
Nice to hear Tommy talk about the student experience at Tech. I haven't really gotten the impression that has been a big facture for him in the past. But this year decisions are going to be based more so on safety and financial considerations. My guess today is we will have college football, not sure the schedule will stay the same and I strongly believe fan participation/attendance will be drastically limited. Too bad for long-time season ticket holders. Will be a huge problem for places with sell-out crowds.

Do we still have to be in our tailgate spot by 8:00am?

This lady has had enough. She's reporting Tommy to the authorities because he seems rational, optimistic and he isn't in a panic mode like that douche AD from ODU.

the NFL is working on a helmet face guard that might provide the same sort of protection as a surgical mask.

“A lot of players have played with a clear shield to protect their eyes,” McKay said Tuesday during a video conference call with Atlanta media. “This would be extended even further.”
Thom Mayer, who is medical director of the NFL Players Association, said league engineers and sports equipment company Oakley are testing prototypes of a modified face mask that might contain surgical or N95 material.

The first one has never been enforced anyway.
The second, I suppose would allow for teams that only play 4 or fewer home games or a greatly reduced number of total games. Will 8 games be the norm this year?
