Meanwhile in Division 2, my team enters week 4 (semifinals) of their 28-team bracket. 28 TEAMS! It ain't perfect but the pissed off factor starts with the 29th team and above. . . . not the 5th.
4 teams, 8 teams. What a mythical event.
I haven’t tried very hard to figure it out. Has someone found a site/sites that will tell us who is sitting out or has entered the portal from the 4 playoff teams? It would be ideal if they distinguished starters and backups.

A depleted FSU vs Alabama would have been a good game. And UGA vs Michigan would have been better than Michigan vs Alabama.
FSU crapped their pants and just need to STFU! No way did they ever deserve to be in the CFP. And don't give me the BS that they were missing X number of starters tonight. That's part of their problem and the reason they never deserved a playoff berth. UGA, on the other hand, who actually got shafted, showed up and showed the college football world what a real championship program looks like.Quote:

I suspect the FSU situation will be the case more often than not for teams built primarily through the portal.
The transfer portal should not be open until after the end of the bowls and playoffs. And there should be a participation requirement for all athletes receiving NIL.
