Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
If those replay angles on the OOB ball were all they had, there's no way they had enough to overturn that call. But it shouldn't have come down to that.
Yall, I'm starting to get anxiety every time I hear the alma mater because it seems like its always following a loss. Usually an embarrassing one.

Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
I don’t even follow basketball anymore because it always ends badly, so no different in 2024. Tech sports are a clinic for ineptitude.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
12 of 18 from the FT line, 67%, and some of those front ends of 1-and-1's. They were 19 of 22 on FTs 86%. It's not just the FT issue, there are other things too, but those damn FTs. I harp on it all year long knowing full well it would bite us big time, and it did tonight.
Batcho had a good game...no one else did though.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
You would think some of our players could get some serious NIL money if they did commercials for LifeVac. There’s money to be made there
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
I wonder how many times I’ve heard a commentator say “they don’t need a three here” then watched a team not go for a three and win. I’m pretty sure the answer is zero. Still, that applied to the 35 second play. What the heck was Crawford even doing on the last play? At that point, a 3 was pretty close to the only hope. Too much of the time there just didn’t seem to be a plan to the offense.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
This team was never good.
The C-USA was really bad this year.
Better coaches win tournaments.
Hester hasn’t won jack.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
Does Batcho stay. Because of Covid I believe ISO has another year. I believe his inconsistency will not go well for the draft
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
Sloppy play at times and missed free throws really sealed the deal for us against MTSU. I have enjoyed watching this team enough that I hope they play in the postseason - even if it is in a pay to play tournament.

I hope Batcho has found a home and decides to stick around for another season. ISO should do the NBA evaluation thing, and then come back if the evaluation shows he could benefit from another year in college. The unknown (at least by me) is what kind of NIL money they have coming in. If the NIL amount is good, and the chances of making it big after college are low, hanging around for another year could make sense.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
I could do a better job of coaching this team.
I hope Iso and Batcho come back for another year. Together with a healthy Terry Miller, Jr. our frontline would be set. Just have to go find a point guard out there in the portal.
Re: 2024 C-USA Tournament
Very discouraging. No point in even watching the games these days. They say games aren't played on paper but ours are.
Here's how next season will go:
A dozen wins against Div III level competition
Embarrassing loss to much worse team
Enough wins against conference to earn Top 4 seed
Loss to SHSU
Loss in the first round of the tournament
Repeat for 10 years.

How embarrassing that CUSA's "PLAYER OF THE YEAR" for 2024 goes home on the first night. Geez......

Individual accolades feel good for that one player. As a fan, I’d rather have 4-5 consistently good players rather than 1 player that got voted as the best while not even really being the best IMO. Can’t handle the ball in traffic. Not high ball IQ. Doesn’t help create for other players. Won’t translate to the next level. He is a less selfish version of Jr. That’s my opinion anyway.
