2024 Super 1 Foods CUSA Baseball Championship

Tech is a lock for the NCAA tournament, regardless of what happens this weekend. We are definitely still playing for seeding, but we have 40+ wins, a regular season title, and a strong RPI. The reason so many SEC teams have a chance to get in this year is because it is a weak bubble overall.

There’s still plenty to play for in terms of seeding, but I think you can rest easy on our postseason chances.

Rain chances pick up around 3pm and don’t let up until overnight. Hopefully if anything happens, it will be a passing shower.

Will we? Depends on how many sub-0.500 Have teams need spots. If there's any scraps left over maybe we'll get one.

My thoughts too.

FIU defeats WKU in Game 1, 7-5

DUB/MTSU started 25minutes late

DBU starting to break it open in the 4th. 5-1, still 1 out and runners on 1st & 2nd. Scoring in the inning started with a review at the plate which looked like the tag beat the runner, but call stood as safe.

Nice DP gets NMSU out of the inning.

DBU wins G2 5-3. Almost got the times back on track.

Weather.com says nasty weather is coming

9th inning lightening delay...ugh! I assume we'll come back with Bates to pitch the 9th.

Last I heard before I left was that they would finish tomorrow...

NCAA rules say 5 complete is a game.

I suppose Judy has different rules. Nothing online showing the CUSA rules to be different than the NCAA rules.

We are unable to finish tonight’s game due to weather.

Here is the updated schedule.

Thursday
9 AM - Finishing LA Tech vs. Middle Tennessee
- Session Two tickets will get you back into our game
10:15 AM - Game 4 of tournament
1:45 PM - Game 5
5:15 PM - Game 6

Friday, we will have four games:
9 AM - Game 7
12:30 PM - Game 8
4 PM - Game 9
7:30 PM - Game 10

We be back on schedule for Saturday and Sunday.
