Who is "A" and Who is "B"

Group A didn't buy the hype. Predicted an 0-2 start and fully expected what we saw on the field vs Auburn and Navy

Group B drank the koolaid and expected improvment from last year and expected competitive games with Auburn and Navy and (gasp!) maybe even a win or two in those games.

I'm calling myself group b for this discussion.

Ok, Ok, Ok....I bought into it...I thought we would be a better team this year than with what we finished up with. I was iffy towards Auburn and skeptical about Navy based on how they man handled Northern Ill last year but I thought we might take em.....now I'm hoping not to lose it saturday in the second half.

I still don't know who I am.

I thought we could win 1 of the 2. But I was more worried about Navy than Auburn. If we looked good at Auburn I thought we could beat Navy and give teams like Boise and lsu problems. But I thought is we were flat or just barely beat Auburn we would lose to Navy and we would be TRYING for second in the WAC. But none of the good stuff happened.

So I see us at 6-6 for the season. A few breaks like we got last year and we could see 7-5 but we ain't playing like we could capitalize on lucky breaks.

So who am I?

I had a double koolaide with an extra shot and didn't handle the hangover very well either. It still lingers and probably will the rest of the season. :(

But hey, at least I have recovered enough to drive up today and put two extra butts in the Joe. :)

I don't think having a meltdown is the determining factor. I don't consider myself as having a meltdown. I wasn't calling for the benching of anybody or the firing of anybody. The only thing that had me upset was those who thought we were irrational for thinking Tech should win at least one of those games.

NO, it's just a football game and it's just a season.
I melted down a few years ago with the banners. And now I feel that we should all give the process time. After all, we hired a guy with ZERO head coaching experience. Will he make mistakes? YES! Will he correct those mistakes is the question. How much time does he need to correct his mistakes seems to be the question.

I think the line was drawn with the previous admins. when we saw no effort to move forward. But as long as I see effort to make things better I will support, even in failure.

In that case I'm an A- or a B+. I figured we'd be 0-2 and likely 6 - 6 on the season. But was REALLY hoping we'd get one of the two and go 7 -5. Lightning would have to strike twice for us to go 8 - 4.

But I a koolaid candidate for 2010!
