Taulib Ikharo, WR, 5'11 180
Laney College, CA (originally from Oakland). Named to first team all-conference golden gate team (whatever that is).

Is this kid a 3-2 or a 3-3?
Video says 'freshman', so I'm led to think he redshirted as a JC and he's a 3-3.

His OL looked kinda sucky too. Seemed like he had to scramble or had some kind of pressure every pass.

Kind of reminds me of Eric Newman.
Re: Too early for a 2-deep?
I am really intrigued by all the talent that SD has brought in after the signing period. Does any one know where we stand on schlorships? Imo some of these guys are going to get playing time from the get go! I definitely think the bar is being raised! Go dawgs!
Re: Too early for a 2-deep?
Had one left, now two (depending on walk-ons coming on and off).

It definitely looks like most of his throws were under pressure. Not bad throwing for a guy constantly on his heels.

As I understand it, he will have 3 to get in 3 & is immediately eligible. He will be here for the second summer session. I do not know where the rumor came from that he will win the job hands down but, if he is BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE ( and none of us know that, not even the coaches ), then he will be the starter. This new group of coaches is all about performance--perform, you play, regardless of WHAT you have been or WHERE you have been.
Re: Too early for a 2-deep?
Well, I didn't think it was possible, but I'm actually even more excited about this football season!
