Does Louisiana Tech use a cannon during football games?

Incident with the KA cannon happened before Dooley was even the coach way back in 2000 so its possible we are both right.

The KAs used to, but it was the people from the Louisiana Military Museum supplying and operating the cannon who refused to comply with Dooley's request.

I am glad that thing is gone, it used to hurt my ears and made watching the game difficult.

It used to be the KAs, until the shot a wad of newspaper into the stands and put a pretty big dent in them. Then the Sons of the Cofederacy took over, then Dooley got rid of it.

You'd hate both OSU and OU games here then. I swear I'm at a rock concert and not a football game with all the cannons, smoke, and fireworks.

I liked the canon. I looked forward to the thunder and the smoke after each score, and I felt like something was missing after dooley did away with it.

I'd still like high tech laser lights coming out of Dawgzilla for night games after scores.
