That's just ignorant.

is it? I know I think im in the B group..Id be willing to bet you $500 today that if we went undefeated today that we wouldnt be in a BCS game.
Yes, it is.
In the 14-year history of the BCS, every 11-0 or 12-0 non-AQ team has been ranked in the BCS Top 12 regardless of how weak the strength of schedule was.
There is already some buzz in the national media about our team next season.

I never said we wouldnt be in the top 25. I said I dont think we will play an opponent in the top 25. Of course we would be in the top 25.
Where is the signature win currently on our schedule 06? Nobody in the WAC, UNLV is awful, Houston will be down, Rice is down, and I think Virginia and Illinois will be average at best.UTSA and Lamar are 1AA. Personally I think its very ignorant to think we would make a BCS game. But I sure as hell hope we go undefeated and we do make a BCS game and you can say I told you so.
You did say it on the radio a few weeks ago, and I took it as a knock against Tech. Bruce Feldman from CBS Sports and Paul Myerberg of the New York Times say that we have a shot, but our local media doesn't believe we do?
What's your point about Houston?
Houston was ranked #6 at the end of the regular season without beating anybody of note.
We wouldn't get the opportunity to choke in a championship game.
Replacing Lamar with TAMU changes the equation though. Running the table with Houston (even when down), Illinois (loaded with talent, just needed a coach), Virginia (division and conference contender), and TAMU guarantees a BCS bid and little talk of playing a weak schedule. But that only happens with TAMU on the schedule.
I read the article it was 5 teams from the non aq conference who may have a chance to be bcs busters. They probably looked at the schedule and says they may have a chance to go undefeated. ..I can see where they are coming from.Houston had to win 13 games to even sniff a BCS game. We dont have 13 games. Because of the conference we are in makes our schedule about as bad as theirs was this past season. And Im not going to tell you something I dont believe just because I went to Tech and am in the local media. Wanting Tech to make it and thinking we will are two different things. Play Texas AM and win and it does more.
