That's a waste of money. That does nothing to make the team better or draw more fans. Many all concrete stadiums are open underneath. We could use that money to take down the ugly wings and add more seats that blend in with the rest of the stadium on the north end.

Closing up the underbelly, in my opinion, would be part of adding Suites to each side of the stadium. I think it would add revenue from the sale of the suites. As you see in my pics in Post 287, I think it would go a long way toward drawing more fans.
I don't think we need to close the underbelly, just to close the underbelly. But if we did it right, I think it would be great for our team and fans.

This is my dream of JAS. It's very do-able. :) Brick facade.

I know we have an underground creek in the north endzone, I think a beam style construction would probably be a more likely option than an all concrete design.

I like it.

Screw east side luxury boxes.
Westside boxes towering over the top of the current east, and FACING Tech Drive, make a more definite impression.
Oh, and eastside boxes? Building only after westside is sold (and more blue seats are added in the grandstand. . . .

Just what we need, a bunch of alumni from an engineering school wandering around an active construction site. What could possibly go wrong?

This could be the view of the North End Zone from the SEZ.

Re: SEZ Live Web Camera Feed -
They have stated several times that the SEZ will be fully operational by the Southern game. Open House tours will be at that game.
Re: SEZ Live Web Camera Feed -
Hopefully it is an open campaign for new box seats whenever the time comes.
