I carry a Kel Tec P3AT when concealment is difficult. When my pckets are a little deeper, I carry a Ruger LCR .357. You can spend more, but you can't beat the reliability. You could pick up both for the price of a Kimber.Quote:

That was mainly my biggest complaint. They were also heavier, because of the steel frame mostly. I looked at the Kimbers, Sigs (in .40 and .45), and Glock (.40). I don't remember even looking at an Kimber Ultra Carry, once I shot this P238 I feel in love with it. For being a small frame gun, it is super accurate and reliable. I haven't ever had a jam and can shoot 2" groups at 15 yards.Quote:

Did I mention that there is very little recoil with tthe new recoil pad and Beretta auto being a "soft-kicker" anyway. I absolutely smoked the 5-stand course this evening... I can't wait for duck season!
I've worked with a guy who has the silencer on his 10/22. Yeah, it does make a difference with LR, but I find with the subsonic rounds, my henry .22 is just as quiet, may be slightly louder than a silenced 10/22. Reason is the sound escapes out the action when the casing is ejected. On a lever action henry, the sound stays in the barrel, exiting out the end.Quote:
