Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
Could Super 1 be closing the old location after the new one opens? I know some stores do that. Also, Johnny's bought land by house on Southern Loop in Shreveport 10 years before they built.
If they don't own the current location, maybe they prefer to own.

someone on Ruston Rants claims Super 1 is keeping both locations open
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
Apparently the current Super 1 is one of the busiest in the chain, if you can believe that.

I can. It's the best run Super 1 I've ever been in. Of course I've only been in Monroe, WM, and Ruston.
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
On the drive up from Chattanooga to Knoxville to Lexington....
Six lanes on I-75 most of the way. Before Lexington one of the stand stills in traffic was a couple of miles out from the Buc-ees just south of Richmond. Simply amazing that that many vehicles could attempt to get into those gas pumps, waiting in line, hold up 6 lanes of interstate traffic, paying $3.10 for fuel. I don't get it, but the first thing my wife said, was "this is going to completely shut down I-20 in Ruston".

Hardly ever go on Tech Drive to notice before now, but what is going in where Cox’s gas station used to be?

So another coffee shop and right by Starbucks, not that I go there? Hoped it was more exciting than that. Oh, well.

7 Brew is from Northwest Arkansas, we have a few in Little Rock. The one by me is right across from Starbucks. It's not really a coffee shop, but a drive thru drink store making fizzy sodas, frozen drinks, and some sweet coffee drinks. Our 7Brew and Starbucks do quite well even being located right across from each other.

Must be the ol' Wendy's must be in sight of the Golden Arches strategy.

What is being built across from the Prescription Shop?
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
I found out that a convenience store/service station is being build across from the Prescription Shop. Now I am wondering what is being built just north of Rolling Hills. Anyone know??

I avoid them if I can. Their prices are 10 to 25 percent higher then most convenience stores. Raceway locations are a close second.
FWIW, there is an existing usa travel center in Calhoun. They are building another one across the street.
