Holtz won't go until the end of next season. He has too much working on his side with the "these guys havn't ever played until this year and I'm a green coach and these are Dyke's recruits" defense.

Just disappointed. We have the talent to beat Army but they wanted it more than us. They also out coached us and executed.

Note to self, any time we play an option team, just kick on side kicks when we happen to score and go fr any reasonable fourth down. This rule also applies for spread/blur offenses also.

No, when it is 4th and 1 and you keep 2-4 players over 5 yards deep against a team that has thrown 3 passes all game, that is a coaching problem

It's not like Army added any wrinkles to their offense. We know what they're going to do, yet we can't come close to stopping it. When you get blown out by an option team, you know you're fielding a very bad football team with a bad coach at the helm.

I'm still going to stay positive, taking into account (not sure the exact numbers) lost 30 seniors and only about 4 returners on offense. Pretty much all new coaching staff, I'll give them a year to figure it out, but next year no excuses.
