Louisville had a big outbreak in different sports a couple of weeks ago, shut down several sports. I think football was good to go at that point.

But, playing uneven numbers of conference games just feels off.
Of course, by the time it's all played out it's pretty unlikely that all 13 teams get all of their 7-8 conference games in anyway. Be even weirder to see CUSA standings someday where you have one team at 4-1 and another is 3-4 and another is 6-2 and another is 1-2.
MLB standings kind of look off like that now.
Too late to completely redo the conference schedule. A couple of teams would not be able to play every team in their own division to make a schedule work where every team plays 8 conference games. And that's not exactly what is needed this year.

UAB @ UTSA (could play back to back weeks).
FIU @ FAU
Marshall @ Charlotte
MTSU @ WKU

Does UAB really need an advantage of playing UTSA twice? That's why the plan for east teams to play a team twice was rejected.

Tommy said if we play BYU we need a plane. The team can carpool to Shreveport. Look at the money we will be saving. Plus a game against BYU could ruin our undefeated season.

Yes they are but give them credit for acknowledging the gifts they've received. Maybe that will help mitigate the effect on future giving.

I am at the point where I will be more than happy to play out our current schedule as is. I will complain after about all the missed scheduling opportunities later. Not like we should have expected better in these times versus the past five years though.
Re: 2020 Season - Covid Edition
Army has revamped their schedule w/ 11 games (8 home, 2 road and 1 neutral. ). They are still hoping for a 12th game on 9/26 https://goarmywestpoint.com/news/202...-schedule.aspx
