Maybe a chance for a better coach now than Tennessee hired UCF AD Danny White as its new AD to replace Fulmer.

He moved in around Thanksgiving. But it has been WAY too quiet on that front. Need some kind of interview or other media from him at least once a month.

I've received two emails, one in December and one in January, from Tech that had a video from the new AD. That's more than I EVER received from the previous AD's in total. It was refreshing. Plus, he's living close to one of my daughter's who had invited him and his family to a fireworks display recently. He had to decline because he had to be at a BB game at the TAC. So, he's around. I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far.

Seriously? What’s so encouraging? Has Dr Wood been making the speaking rounds to all the local Lions Club lunches and we’re just not hearing about it? I just love how people like you totally forget about all those 30 min interviews T-Mac did on video with different Tech coaches, players, etc...yet you’re willing to give the new guy a free pass for doing a 2 minute introductory video, and sending you a couple of standard protocol e-mails. LOL! I GUARANTEE you most of the people on this board wouldn’t recognize Dr Wood in a crowd. Would you?

It’s time to quit blaming everything on T-Mac, and start expecting more from the “new guy”.... you sound like those people who couldn’t quit blaming George Bush for everything back in the early 2000’s.

:) :) :) Did you get up too early this morning? Not have your coffee first? What 30 minute interviews T-Mac did with coaches, players, etc??? Never saw them. Of course I didn't give big enough dollars I suppose to be included in his circle.

I don't blame everything on T-Mac or his predecessors. But I am willing to give the new guy a little breathing room to get his ball rolling. The Lions Clubs I'm familiar with in north Louisiana are rarely meeting right now. I remember inviting T-Mac to my Lions Club (not in Ruston) when he first came to town to speak. I was looking forward to hearing him and what he had to say. I was underwhelmed and remained so until his departure. Comparing me to "those people" who couldn't quit blaming George Bush for everything... I doubt you know me, so don't compare me to anyone.

Back when the COVID thing got started last April/May, T-Mac did a whole series of 30 minute (or more) video interviews with various LA Tech coaches. One week he would interview Skip Holtz. The next week he would interview Lane Burroughs, etc... They were actually very good. If you missed 'em, that's on you. It's not somebody else's fault.

I know it's fun and fashionable to complain about T-Mac, but I still haven't heard you --or anybody else-- say what's so "encouraging" about Dr Wood. Wood has been our AD for 91 days now, and other than the standard "form" letters of introduction, etc....I haven't seen or heard a peep from him. I'd love to hear someone report what he's done to further LA Tech athletics in the last 90 days.
