Really fun shooting. It's like a 10/22 with an attitude. Others might disagree, but I say lower the budget on the AR to make sure you can get an EOTech red dot. Worth every penny.

Thanks. This pic is an actual pic of the gun I purchased today. That is a 1920's gun and all of that bluing is the original bluing! Everything on it is original. I can't wait to hear that iron "ding" downrange. I'm working on the same guy to buy his custom Ruger 44/40 single action revolver in a "bundle" deal.

BTW: All you guys that want to or presently own an AR I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you purchase a Bumpfire stock ASAP. They will not stay legal for long and they are awesome fun. We purchased two a few weeks back and they are way too much fun once you figure them out. The only downside is you'll have to buy a lot more ammo! I'm not kidding about this. Even if you haven't gotten into the AR's yet you NEED to buy one of these now!!!!!!

Got one just like it!
Re: Dogtor Evil's Gun Thread
I just screwed-up and left my computer on the coffee table with the pic on this thread on-screen so now my wife knows that I own an El Tigre 44/40. Anybody else have a wife that asks, "How many guns do you need?".

The answer is always one more...
I finally broke down and bought a Ruger LCP for concealed carry. $279 plus $100 for a crimson trace seemed pretty good (or perhaps I just needed "one more"). The Ruger is surprisingly smooth and well made -- at least compared to my Kel Tec experience.

I've got an LCR that has one of the smoothest double action triggers I've shot. My .380 is a Kel-Tec and it is also very smooth. I've had no issues with it since I got past the break in period. Love them both.

Re: Dogtor Evil's Gun Thread
Bought "The Judge" a couple of months ago. This is a fun gun to shoot. The snakes better watch out now.

Looking for a small pistol for my wife and seriously considering the Rugar 380 LCP. She wants to take a class and get a CWP. Where did you buy it for $279? What do you think of the Crimson Trace?
