Sorry, that's not what I meant. Trump is a symptom...maybe the most pronounced, but he's a result of something that preceded him...just as the current craziness is a result of the tone he's set.

President Trump's election was a direct FU to the corrupt DC establishment. It's way past time to throw the criminals that make up the deep state out of office at the very least, but most of them belong in prison. Stop believing everything the DC establishment tells you. They're playing you like a fiddle.
Your posts show that you don't actually think it'll be effective though...all the blood in the streets predictions. I'm sure the FU is fun, but what will it actually PRODUCE in the long term? Here's what we've got so far...even more division, even more gridlock, and steadily climbing national debt.
I'm sorry, but those few of you on here, and you know who you are (as do we) have no leg to stand on by your continued attacks on President Trump. Attacks on Trump are direct support for the DC Establishment. So, you're either anti-Swamp, or you're not. It's The Swamp that is the root of all of our problems re: national debt, the budget, too much regulation, on-going poverty, illegal drugs' abuse, lousy public schools, 14% of adults who can't even read! Illegal aliens invading our country and murdering Americans, overly expensive healthcare, etc, etc, etc...
Look at the previous post....one of you lamenting "gridlock." So blinded with your socialist viewpoint you can't see that what Trump is standing up to is more of the same from The Swamp. Nothing good comes out of The Swamp. They are all Orwell's pigs! and the initial (D) or (R) behind their names has very little to do with it. Although the (D)'s are far worse.
Electing Trump as an FU to the establishment is the most classic example of the mistake of “throwing the baby out with the bath water.”
The division was already there. Are you forgetting all the black and blue lives matter stuff that went on? We have been successfully splintered into groups based on our sexual orientation, financial status, gender, race, national origin, etc....and that was NOT done by Trump. Identity politics was a creation of the left, and will likely be the cause of our complete collapse.
Gridlock was already there. If anything, the only thing that has changed is that some (not all) repubs are starting to take up for themselves. Take a look at what the dems have done to repub SC nominees as opposed to what repubs have done to those nominated by dems. Every repub nominee becomes a Constitutional crisis for the dems. Hard to get even a few dems to vote for a repub nominee. I guess all the repubs were for all the abortions Ginsburg could approve.
Now we have dems demagoguing an issue they approved of just a few years earlier (building a barrier, where needed, on our southern border), and demanding tax cuts for their wealthy constituents in high-tax states. Not to give the republicans a pass. When the dems were meeting behind closed doors creating the worst possible health care system possible, republicans were in full obstruct mode and did not attempt to get involved. Everything has become political, in the event you hadn't noticed.
National debt is horrible. Along with our identity politics it will destroy us. Republicans suck. Dems suck. It goes up no matter who is in there. I didn't see any interest in it when the "moderate" repubs were in charge. Remember, that stuff is done in the house (where pretend-conservative Ryan wore the crown) not in the White House. Let's see if we get any better from the Pelosi reign. I would bet it will be more of the same.
