Re: J.C. Love Field Demolition
Also, I wonder if that open dirt field behind Temple church has enough slope that the runoff goes in the lake when it rains?

The Blue trim on the outside of the Joe needs to be repainted. You can see the original red in some spots.
I think it's time to replace those banners with newer designs

It'd be great if they could be replaced with brick walls around the stadium and statues of the players.

Agree 100% about the need to erect brick walls around the stadium to replace the open look. I have been thinking that for a long time. Player statues would be a nice touch, but brick walls should be higher on the list in my opinion.

TOTALLY agree with closing in the underside of the stadium. Needs to be high on the list. I have wanted to see that for a long time....
Re: J.C. Love Field Construction
We need more to it than building a wall to cover up the east-side. I like what Boise is doing with their east-side (of course it works for them, we need something that would match our stadium). Imagine building out the stadium with an expanded concourse, new concessions, restroom, and any gameday operation needed facility. On our westside, the pressbox did a great job to cover up a good chunk of the underbelly.
This is Boise's rendering.

Might be ugly to you, they are doing more to their stadium than us. We are just trying to play catchup.

Yea, this is simply just a good example of what ours might look like in 25 years.

Hopefully, it will be something that the next AD would look into, don't see it on TMac list of to-do's. Having visited other college/professional venues, our concourses for both football/basketball are not great. We repaint the same old concession stands and restroom and call it a renovation.

Hopefully we'll have better taste...

the fire is from a lot that is being cleared on the Northeast corner of the railroad intersection with maple. it is right beside a substation so it might be city work
