BTW, how many died when the token saved us?

It's just the continuation of his three-year temper tantrum. He didn't get his way in the last election, so he is self flagellating and holding his breath in the corner until he gets what he wants. I certainly would not want to be him and live in that kind of misery!
There's a lot of that going around.
Such commie liars!! So glad Trump banned travel and has been right about China all along. And now they're saying that our military brought the Chinese virus to China. :icon_roll:
Correct. The moving target is what constitutes "sensible." Unlike flu, we have no effective vaccines or specific treatments, and until recently little or no monitoring or testing capabilities. All of these slow transmission and keep regular flu to a low 0.1% mortality rate, so we only lose a few tens of thousands of people per year. Unlike flu, this virus seems to spread more readily from folks who show no signs of illness, so they can infect a lot of people even when they think they're being sensible. The only tools we currently have for slowing the spread of this virus are behavioral (hygiene, social distancing, etc.), so these are the tools we're asked to employ.
The less we do to slow the spread of this illness, the more our healthcare system will be tasked to deal with this instead of all the other bajillion illnesses it usually has to deal with. Many people will die from this silly virus no matter what we do. But ostensibly healthier people have a bigger role in keeping that number down than we normally have in a pandemic.
