Clifford the Big Red Dog too liberal for you?

So you listen to it? To get news or to be entertained?
In any case, the amount of actual public funding for "public broadcasting" is negligible. NPR is overwhelmingly paid for by underwriting (euphemism for advertising) and donors. But the underlying premise is the same -- they'll sell what sells. They'll give the people what they want.
Not arguing that point.
Point is CNN et al peddle lies because they know there are enough braindead morons to lap it up. It fits their political agenda, so they are willing to lie to advance their evil cause(s). The average shareholder is satisfied with a reasonable return on their investment. I would NEVER own stock in CNN or some similar entity, they are anti-American. I do hold stock in Altria, which is a cigarette company. I have never smoked, I despise it, but its use is confined to the morons STUPID enough to smoke, and that equity is a solid part of my portfolio.
But the bigger point is this: CNN and the rest of the lefty media LIES! Those of us who don't have our heads up our azz knew that. I just find it comical that those of you bashing FOX all these years are now admitting the truth.
But, that's okay. We welcome aboard all of you who cast away your libtardism and join us in righteous!
And you know that how? Did you tune in for news or for an outrage adrenaline rush? Either way, they got you.
Honestly, some of you fellas talk about MSM like the guy on the dog food commercials who says it tastes like real beef. How do you know unless you tried it?
I"ve been around long enough to know I guess. It only takes a few minutes of watching any of the big 3, CNN, MSNBC, or PBS to hear their message. Their message has always been slanted left and anti-america.
Again, your theory of "buying what they are selling" is not about supply and demand. It is about who has control of the media. The latest example is the fall of print media. When readers fianlly got another option they dropped the paper editions like a hot potato. Readers were never really "buying it". It was just a habit.
IF they have a flawed business model, why does it trouble you? Let the market sort it out.
I had a bad experience at IHOP once, and I never went back. If they make it, great. If they don't, great. The continued existence of IHOP doesn't affect me.
I prefer to get my groceries at the Krogers. But if my neighbor likes the Walmarts better, so what?
Why does it get you all hot and bothered that CNN exists? If you dont find it entertaining, dont watch it.
I think you misunderstand the complaint. I haven't heard anyone complain that they are owed unbiased reporting. More that people are frustrated that they present themselves as unbiased and there are people that actually fall for it. That wouldn't be an issue if the people dumb enough to eat it up didn't vote. But they do.
We agree on how to react. We disagree on why we react...to current event topics anyway.
My point on PBS was that there is no demand for them. They are there because of a false narrative spewed by the left. The right would cut that dead weight in a heart beat. Their audience is minimal and not market driven at all.
McDonalds presents itself as good food. But dumb people still eat it. Dodge presents itself as a reliable auto maker. But dumb people still drive them. And vote too.
Why does dumb people consuming shit media get conservatives in a tizzy, but nobody bats an eye at dumb people consuming shit burgers or trucks?
Even if all the biased media disappeared tomorrow, dumb people would still vote. Dumb people have been misled by other dumb people since Bible times, and there's nothing to be done about it. So why bunch one's pannies?
