Now you can see Barr backpedal. The AG’s official statement yesterday:
“The Attorney General has previously stated that the Special Counsel repeatedly affirmed that he was not saying that, but for the OLC opinion, he would have found the President obstructed justice,” the statement said. “The Special Counsel’s report and his statement today made clear that the office concluded it would not reach a determination – one way or the other – about whether the President committed a crime. There is no conflict between these statements.”
He could have always stated things the way Mueller actually said them but it would have made for MUCH LESS effective spin. You guys were misled, so Barr’s previously chosen words served his and Trump’s designed purpose. You can’t trust people like Barr.

Seems like you are seeing what you want to see. The fact that Mueller wants to remain ambiguous doesn't mean Barr didn't ask him point blank the questions he says he asked him. As the quote says, there isn't a conflict between the two statements. If Barr was wrong Mueller should say so. Mueller is working hard to leave the door open for impeachment. We will see if that works out for him.

Mueller is a straight shooter and constrained by his role. No one is saying Barr didn’t ask him the questions. Barr just chose to present the information in a way that was misleading relative to the report. Mueller didn’t make a determination as to whether Trump committed obstruction. It is that simple.
But that SIMPLE explanation makes poor political messaging and doesn’t make Trump happy so instead Barr communicates this part of the report as “he was not saying that, but for the OLC opinion, he would have found the President obstructed justice.” Well, there was a whole lot of things that Mueller “was not saying”, but when Barr phrased it that way he was expecting those that want to excuse the President would interpret Barr’s statement to mean that “Mueller said that the OLC opinion is not what decided the issue of obstruction” (implying that he had other reasons not to find obstruction).
Even to this day, some folks think Mueller must be lying because they can’t reconcile Barr and Mueller’s statements. That is because Barr was deliberately misleading. The two statements don’t literally contradict each other, but the only way they don’t is if you acknowledge the misleading nature of Barr’s characterization.
Mueller’s report leaves no room for ambiguity. He believed he had no authority to charge a sitting president, so he made no determination. Plain as day in the report. Plain as day in Mueller’s comments yesterday. Barr is the only person trying to introduce ambiguity.

Then this investigation and report should have never been done. And definitely stopped over a year ago and/or he should have told the public this "fact". Surely the Dems and GOP knew he couldn't charge a sitting President. So why were the crazy libs and their lawyers and media continuing saying Mueller was going to convict Trump and put him in jail etc...? What a joke.

He explained why the report was done, which you would know if you read it.
America needed this information. Now we have it even if you want to bury your head in the sand and ignore it.

That's not true and you should know that.

Re: Presidential Election 2020
I wonder if the Clintons, DNC, Obama and the Deep State will again commit collusion and obstruction during the 2020 Presidential Election?

Trump sure hasn’t been interested in doing anything to stop the Russians from doing it again. He still won’t even acknowledge they did the first time.
Re: Presidential Election 2020
I know! Me and 100 million other voters are counting on the Russians causing us to vote for Trump again. We wouldn't vote for Trump on our own volition, we need the Ruskies to make us do it. :icon_roll:
