Strange thing just happened. I went through the McDonalds drive through and ordered my meal. The girl who was taking my order asked me if I wanted some condom mints. I've never heard of that before. I told her sure because I figured Vette might enjoy them. Well, I got my order and looked in the bag, and all that it had was my order and some ketchup. I guess I'll have to go back for my mints.
Why do so many folks pronounce didn't and wouldn't as "did-unt and would-unt"?
Do they still teach the grammar rules saying when to pronounce.. the (thee) and the (thuh)?
Will some folks ever learn that "allot" is not the word for a lot?:icon_wink:
All this coming from a guy who made B's and C's in English and grammar.
My old DSL modem died last week. Dialup was the only way to get on BB&B until the replacment came Tuesday. Now I remember why I hate dialup so much.
