Re: If you want a thread to die
Do you remember the Friday Night Fights (boxing) or wrestling from Chicago??
Re: If you want a thread to die
Gillette Cavlcade of sports. Fiday night boxing. I don't remember "where " the wrestling came from, but do remember Duke Snyder (the good guy), Danny McLish (pure evil), Gorgious George ( no more adjectives needed).
Sunday I was into the Chicago Cardinals -Ollie (33) Matson from Trinity Texas and when USF stood for University of San Francisco.

Yep...that wrestling was Wrestling From Chicago. It was great entertainment....especially when the girls wrestled!
Re: If you want a thread to die

No.....but it would be nice if there was a riding trail around here.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Bike riding is a Don W thing, I believe; or is it Dawg 80. One of those two "feisty" ones that are busy defending their cred. right now. :D

I don't remember girl wrestlers back in black & white TV days. Also, my mind has cleared up a little. I think it was Danny McShay, not Mclish. Also recall Duke "Keimuko" or sumpin' like that.
Re: If you want a thread to die
I remember "Cowboy Bill Watts", "Scandar Achbar" and "Dr. X" from the old Ark-la-tex wrestling. Looked like it took place at the TV studio.

The girl wrestling matches were few and far between. I guess there weren't many female wrestlers...and the few that were would probably rate a 2 on a 10 scale in beauty. :)
Re: If you want a thread to die
Need to get this thread back to the top of the page.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Don't know why this thread won't move up!!!!! Maybe OLDBLUE needs to put another post on here. This thread has done nothing since his last post.
