I didn't quite equal Sportdawg. But I did get in 25 miles of hill repeats on my bicycle, took my wife's car to Bossier for an oil change/wash, cut & piled up brush for 3 hours, just had lots of stamina today!! Gotta go to the church at 8:45 to help set up for a Sunday program.
Remember tomorrow (Sunday 16th) is FATHER'S DAY!! Mine's been passed away 40 years but hardly a day goes by that I don't think of him and growing up in Ruston. So much to be thankful for.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Happy Father's Day to Russdawg as well.

Re: If you want a thread to die
Take a moment this FATHER'S DAY to listen to Chet Atkins touching tribute to his father, "I Still Can't Say Goodbye." You'll be glad you did:

Re: If you want a thread to die
Speaking of father's Day, there was an article in the BR Advocrap (print) about Luke & Katy McCown expecting their 6th child in October.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Sorry. Just saw the thread about the article.
Re: If you want a thread to die
June 16, 1965: Bob Dylan records "Like A Rolling Stone." Happy Father's Day.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Well, OLDBLUE....looks like you and I will be the main two posters that will keep this thread alive. Are you up for the challenge??

Maybe I can pitch in a little. THE BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL was fought June 17, 1775, and from that battle is attributed the quote "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes" to American William Prescott. TODAY'S BIRTHDAYS, both born June 17, 1943, are Barry Manilow :) and Newt Gingrich :icon_razz: (being conservative is great, being a curmudgeonly pompous a#% is NOT).

Yes, I'm dying for some freaking football and work is slow... I was on there talkin' Astros before they started their BS so I decided to have some fun. I invite anyone here to come make sure that thread never dies. It's just called "La Tech fans..."

Have you thought about revisiting this thread now that it's been almost 3 years later? Maybe give it a bump.
Re: If you want a thread to die
BTE II has about 1000 more posts than this thread, but they had a 5 year head start.

And much better subject matter.

I'm doing good, just to keep this thread alive. I don't want to get in a situation where I'm trying to keep plates spinning on top of poles. :)
