I didn't notice this. I thought the clock management was perfect in the final 3 minutes.
Can anyone else confirm this?
Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
This one really sucks. Right now, I'm wondering why I still give a damn.

Exactly !

Yep, the INT and then not making plays in the final minute of the game killed us.
I agree that we should have been playing for the field goal to go up 16-0 before the J'Mar INT. BUT J'Mar has to know to throw the ball away on a busted play in the red zone.

It was about as good as it could have been.
But Holtz quit coaching long before that.
Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
cant give a guy 10 seconds to find a receiver down field
If we can hold them for 4 quarters then WHY change to no pressure prevent last drive. It NEVER works. Yes the dbs should have made the play but no pressure on QB. We left too many pts in red zone but we should never let a team with no time outs drive 60 yds in 50 sec.

I’ll go back thru the DVR tonight when I get home, but my brother and I were both talking about them waiting to snap the ball as they were lining up and they snapped at somewhere around the 20-25 mark.

Yeah that's on JMar. Just throw it away & we kick FG. Sad part is we outplayed them but allowed them to stick around so the one mistake hurts worse than it should.

Turns out it was the 4th quarter, like always.

I'm still making my sign, I don't give a damn about Cusa

Agreed... :(
My point is, we didn't really 'blow' this particular game.
SC got some lucky breaks.
JMar threw a bad, untimely interception. Other than that we fought like beasts.
I know it's angry time.. I know we NEED to get a win like this to ignite our fan base.. but today we're on the losing side.. again. But we didn't lose because of coaching mistakes, bad QB play, or a limp defense.

Muschamp just said, "....they are a good football team and they will win Conference USA..."
Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
So which Cusa game do weis a this year, and who will we be playing for the cusa championship. I've given up on us hosting that game

Dont give a damn what Muschamp thinks. No one cares when we beat up the Little Sisters of the Poor in CUSA (except for USM) but can't FINISH.
Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
JMar is getting there. One stat that needs to change & it will with time - 281 yds passing but only 1 TD. When that starts becoming 3-4 then games like this aren't even close. Future is bright though the present makes me want to vomit.
