My neighbor just had Covid. Very active guy, in good shape, no medical issues, not overweight, etc. Ended up in the hospital 4 times in one week with double Pneumonia and other stuff. Never went on the vent, but was pretty miserable and alarmed at not being able to breathe.
Nasty stuff for sure.
