Re: What are you listening to Today?
Here's a live performance of Panama, by the late Great Eddie Van Halen and the band, Van Halen, in 2015. IMO, they should have never rehired David Lee Roth. They fired one of the best Rock Singers of all time --Sammy Haggar-- and they were never the same again.

By the way, the Wilson sisters --along with John Bonham's son Jason on the drums-- nailed it. Nancy's guitar solo at the beginning was perfect, Bonham's drums rolled in nicely without over-doing it, and they group incorporated the large choir beautifully. Great Choreography on this one. And
nobody but Robert Plant could sign it better than Ann Wilson.

It's such a good album. The demos and live versions are fine. But I'm not sure the box set stuff is all that essential. Interesting, but so far not really transformative or anything. Maybe something will stand out when I can pay more attention.

RIP Spencer Davis, founder of the Spencer Davis Group. Dead at 81.
This is the guy that the Blue Brothers "stole" some of their music from......including this song. By the way, that's Steve Winwood lead singer of this band in 1967. Winwood was in the Spencer Davis Group from 1963 (at age 15) to 1967.
