Trump’s departure is a great opportunity for you knuckleheads to come back to reality. You should start by not visiting websites that fill your brains with misinformation.
Yeah, misinformation like:
1) Trump establishing new, friendlier, less-testy relations with certain Middle Eastern nations...leading to historic treaties between them and Israel, and that moves the world off the edge of the cliff of a very, very nasty war.
2) Trump re-establishing relations with India, The Philippines, and others, forging new alliances designed to check the Chicoms' dangerous expansionism. (see the "China" thread).
2a) Heck, even some of Trump's staunchest critics are now singing his praises in foreign affairs.
3) A booming economy, with record employment across the demographic spectrum.
4) Getting control of the southern border, cutting illegal immigration by 80%. Practically killing the drug trade and human trafficking (slavery). And, as a benefit, saving hundreds, if not thousands, of lives of misinformed/used immigrants who are murdered or left to die in the desert or the back of a truck.
5) The rebuilding of US manufacturing, some in critical national security industries.
I could go on, but you know the truth...
The "reality" you desire will be a rollback of all these wonderful accomplishments.
The WI recount is going well (NOT!) for the Dimms. Contested ballot count is now up to at least 200,000.
Trump only needs 38 electoral votes to win. I feel sure he will win Pennsylvania because he was up 380,000 votes around midnight before they brought in that truckload of ballots.
He only needs states totaling at least 37 electoral votes to have results flipped or be decertified and removed from the Electoral College count.
Breaking news is that a joint resolution is being put forth for the PA legislature to reclaim authority to seat electors from the PA Secretary of State and to void the current election certification.

It’s now official. Trump turned out over 80 million people to vote for sleepy Joe. That is how bad he sucks.
Sorry boys but that extra 10,000,000
votes for Biden didn’t happen without fraud. Oh and Trump received more votes for an incumbent President in the history of America.
The socialist democrats may never lose an election again in states/cities that have made it so easy to vote by mail or without an ID.
LOL! Yeah...by insisting it's ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE and that person has the legal right to vote...that makes it voter "suppression." Repubs want to deny my dead grandparents from voting! How dare they!
I suppose it's just a coincidence in those places (states) with proper control of the voting process Repubs do very well. No, Repubs don't always win...such as the election of JBE (D) as Louisiana governor...there were other well-documented reasons, not voter fraud or "irregularities."
We all know you, Goosey, are a dyed-in-the-wool commie globalist and you don't care how, you just want the destruction of America. So voter cheating is part of the recipe. But, just say it.
Voting is a right and there is no requirement in the Constitution to have an ID, photo or otherwise.
IDs really aren’t the main way Republicans engage in voter suppression these days. It has more to do with limiting polling locations (including shutting down polling locations in black communities), overly complicated registration procedures (including lengthy periods to register before an election), an over complicated procedures for alternative ballots (see Pennsylvania’s silly secrecy ballot requirement).
This stuff really happens and it is Republican tactics to make it harder for people that they think will not vote for them to actually vote. It is unAmerican and shameful.
This was on CNN last night. They seemed a bit panicked.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/202...rump-2020-win/ This link CNN was talking about. Sorry but hard to edit on phone.
Even the time stamp on that video shows “7:03 am” which isn’t at night.
Fareed basically laid out Trump’s Hail Mary strategy more than a month earlier than it played out. His program is great.
https://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2020/0...reeds-take.cnn
It's even worse than CNN is reporting because any election resolution wouldn't happen until the next Congress is already seated.
The next Congress will have either 26 or 27 Republican majority House delegations depending on Iowa 2nd (Republican leads by 8 votes as recounting continues). Democrats have a majority of only 20 House delegations (not 23). MI, MN, and PA (not just PA) are evenly split, and Iowa would be split if the current GOP lead is erased.
Final breakdown will be either 27-20-3 GOP or 26-20-4 GOP.
That wasn’t “reporting.” This was on GPS on Sept 27 before there were any election results. Fareed was offering an explanation as to why he thought Trump was attacking the mail-in ballots. That episode was quite prescient, but not really a surprise, because Fareed does good work.
Liberal and regressive Dems are suppressing the conservation voters by their stealing the elections with massive numbers of fraudulent votes. You are the repressors!
Remember Guisslapp, you liberals are always the ones actually doing what you accuse of the other side.
You’ve got to love this one. And so true!
New York Times: Democrats Suffered ‘Crushing Losses’
“Democrats Suffered Crushing Down-Ballot Losses Across America,” says a post-election analysis by the New York Times.
The November 28 article credits President Donald Trump’s populist coalition for the Democrats’ loss of seats in the House and — worse — the Democrats’ failure to gain control of more state legislatures before the critical redistricting in 2021.
The article does not consider the impact of voting irregularities but blames a suburban backlash against Trump for former Vice President Joe Biden’s apparent White House win. But this blame-the-personality explanation cannot explain the Democrats’ failures everywhere below the White House vote:
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ushing-losses/
Yeah, for 4 years lil johnny has droned on about Trump destroying the GOP. He claims to be a conservative and/or a Republican and his relentless TDS, he says, was out of concern for the GOP. Well...looks like the GOP is stronger than ever. The final test will be Georgia. Can the Repubs rally enough real votes to overcome the Dem cheating? Guess we'll see.
Stronger than ever? In 2016, the GOP had a 10 seat majority in the Senate and a 33 seat majority in the house and they had the White House. Now they've lost the house, the presidency, and the have to go to the mattresses in GEORGIA to hold the Senate. That's pretty stark, but my argument has been that the real damage of Trump will be in the long term.
Only because the regressive thieves concentrated on stealing the election from Trump by ballot dumping after midnight of Nov. 3rd.

Dominion has until Wednesday "to file a brief setting forth in detail the factual bases they have, if any, against allowing the three forensic inspections. The brief should be accompanied and supported by affidavit or other evidence, if appropriate," Batten ordered.

Price of gas is going up...up around .15/gallon just the past 10 days. Since oil is a commodity and depends on futures, are we seeing the Biden effect kicking in?
Also, Biden broke a bone in his foot while playing with his dog. Can you say osteoporosis? Better stay away from stairs...and the "oops!" foot of Kamala Harris. :shocked2:
Fortunately the Jan 2021 contract WTI futures are trading well above $40 now. Supply has been way off for awhile (oil rig counts down from nearly 700 pre-pandemic to around 250 now). Thus the price of the futures contract is more of a demand story in the current tight supply environment. The future is brighter with more demand, and thus the price will go up.
And fears of tighter supply after the loons shut down production, except where they can't like in the ME and SE Asia, and few other places. Then we'll become dependent on foreign oil again, and Harris-Biden will settle some debts (promises) with the war industry and plunge us into a brand new war. Reminder: the US has NOT seen any new wars in the past 4 years. In fact, by allowing our military guys on the ground to exercise their judgment, we have seen practically no appreciable combat since ISIS was crushed two years ago.

Detroit Vote Counter Claims Harassment After Refusing to Backdate Ballots.
A Detroit ballot processor testified before a Michigan legislative hearing on Thursday that she was intimidated and harassed by supervisors after she refused to backdate absentee ballots and accept others that violated state law on Election Night.
Jessy Jacob, a 34-year Detroit city worker, told a hearing of the state’s Senate Oversight Committee that she was instructed by election officials on the morning of Nov. 4 to enter ballots as received by Nov. 2 knowing they had been received after the 9 p.m. deadline on Nov. 3, Election Day. Her refusal drew reprisals, she said.
''They treated me like a criminal, humiliated me, harassed me,'' Jacob said in her witness statement sitting beside Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, campaign lawyers for President Donald Trump. ''It was so bad.''
The Trump campaign has filed lawsuits contesting election results in several states and is lobbying state legislatures to invoke their authority to select electors to the Electoral College.

Dershowitz explains how Supreme Court could get involved in Georgia election challenge.
Dershowitz says high court may be asked to weigh in on who can choose state's electors.
Attorneys Alan Dershowitz and Ken Starr appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss recently revealed evidence of possible voter fraud in Georgia, and explained the possible processes for how the Trump campaign could use it in their effort to reverse the result of the presidential election in that state.
Starr, who rose to fame as the independent counsel investigating President Bill Clinton, pointed to information presented to Georgia state senators last week, including video that purportedly showed ballots being counted without supervision. While Georgia officials have insisted that the video simply shows “normal” ballot counting procedure, Starr said Georgia legislators “seemed to be really troubled” by the video and other evidence presented to them.
“There certainly is probable cause for investigating and looking further,” Dershowitz said. “Giuliani has made very serious accusations. The question is which institution is designed constitutionally to look into it. Is it the state legislature? Is it the courts? Is the clock running in such a way that there won’t be time to look into this?”

The Trump campaign losses continue to pile up today. In his next reality TV appearance, Trump should go on The Biggest Loser.
Not going to lie.
It is looking bad for Trump and the America we know and love right now. Your buddies want to make it a Socialist country with the next step be a full bore Communist nation. That’s how it always turns out and will this time. Unless of course, we are in or quickly approaching the “End Days” as I and many evangelicals around the world believe.
It hasn't looked good for Trump winning the election for a long time. Those cases have all been empty. It's a grift.
As for the rest, certainly elections have consequences and any number of policies are probably going to change towards something you (or I or whomever) might oppose. And maybe a continual trend towards liberalism continues. But it's not the end of the world (well, not metaphorically, and if it is literally, then it doesn't really matter anyway).
Long time as in leading up to November 3rd? What indicators did you look at to form this opinion? If it was polls, and speaking of grifts, they were proven wrong even if Trump lost.
Long time as in from November 3rd? Trump picks up votes in every state and every voting group. Biden does not get as many votes as Clinton got in any of those groups EXCEPT the swing states and almost ALL of those votes were mail in ballots...now way this could be a grift.
Every voting group? Lol.
Trump gained with Latinos. I will give you that. The socialist marketing gimmick was influential.
Trump picked up more black vote, but that doesn’t help when black turnout is higher and you are losing that demographic heavily.
Trump lost support with old folks.
Most significantly, Trump lost support with the biggest voting block....women.
Basic math.
I'd go back as far as the polls, sure. They weren't totally accurate but they predicted a Biden win.
But really since the day or two after the election. Since the "we was robbed" campaign began. Since Fox News called the race. You're going to tell me now that Fox News is now officially LSM and has been totally liberal for years now and I won't really have an answer because I never watch cable news (I've barely even had cable for the last 15ish years, not that I'd watch cable news of any stripe if there was any way to avoid it, which there thankfully is).
But yeah, for a long time. He didn't win. Anyone you see on tv claiming that he did is probably profiting off of this misinformation. At least it started that way, but then they started convincing people. . .
Do you think Trump himself thinks he won? Or is this all part of the "art of the deal?" Honest question - if you hooked him up to a lie detector, regardless of the reality (so even if you agree with him that he really won), what do you think he would say?
Hum... I wouldn’t doubt it.
Mike Lindell at Rally: Fox News 'Had to Be in on It'
At the 'Stop the Steal' rally in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, MyPillow founder Mike Lindell fired criticism at Fox News, saying they were "in on" bending the election toward Joe Biden.
"Why do you think Fox declared Arizona with only 14% of the vote in?" Lindell told the rally crowd. "They already knew what they did. They were in on it. I'm serious. They had to be in on it."
Lindell spoke for around 30 minutes, saying "this had to happen" so America could root out election fraud for future elections.
He added hope the nation comes back to "one nation under God," because people only turn to faith "when times are bleakest."
"We have decades of kids with no God," Lindell lamented.
He added the media was in a rush to serve Biden's campaign bid against President Donald Trump.
"Let's talk about Fox, but Fox would not let me advertise my book before the election because they said it was political," Lindell said, noting the only politics in it was his friendship with Trump.

So the my pillow guy has decided that the super conservative, Trump-backing news channel was in on a fix because they reported the facts but he doesn't like those facts?
Come on, man.
FNC must have known of the obvious fix in Arizona. Their Dimmwit head of the polling unit falsely claimed that Trump wasn't going to win over 45% of the remaining outstanding vote after the premature call was made. Only problem was Trump won over 55% of the remaining vote and closed the lead down to 10,457 votes.
It was clear (to them) that he would lose.
They called it.
He lost.
I don't understand the turning on Fox News other than just sour grapes about admitting defeat rather than pretending it went the other way.
They weren't trying to hurt Trump, they were reporting what happened.
Leaving Fox News was super predictable. The folks that left, left just as soon as Fox quit saying what they want to hear. When the facts conflicted with the viewers preferences, many viewers chose their preferences over the facts. Newsmax and OAN were more than happy to give them what they wanted.
Sure...the left does the same thing in their own ways.
I don’t know how to share tweets on my phone, but I thought this one was interesting.

I'll say it again, put Louisiana in charge in these states who can't seem to handle elections. They can pay us a fee, and we can use the money for sure. After the 2000 Florida "hanging chad" mess there was a joke going around that Louisiana rented our voting machines to Florida so they could hold some local and statewide elections...Edwin Edwards won the Florida gubernatorial race! But, since the EE political machine collapsed and was disbanded, our elections have been fair.
Seriously though, Louisiana does have a good system. Just saw where the final numbers for the POTUS election have been verified, pending the Electoral College's vote, and there were less than 1,400 votes thrown out across the state, out of over 2.1 million votes cast. BTW, Kanye West got 4,897 votes and came in 4th in the state, behind Trump, Biden, and Jorgenson, the Libertarian candidate (21K votes).
In Natchitoches Parish only 117 votes were disallowed, due to insufficient documentation, out of over 16,400 votes cast. I spoke to David Stamey, Clerk of Court for the parish, he is rightly proud of the job his staff does in conducting fair elections. Of course, we have to show picture IDs to vote in person, and any absentee/mail-in ballots are checked and verified. All 117 votes disallowed were mail-in ballots.
The next test of election validity comes soon in Georgia. All the indicators point to a GOP sweep. Not landslides, not blowouts, but solid 4-5% type wins, maybe 52-48% at worse, in favor of the GOP. If the anti-Trump vote fails to turn out then the two GOP wins will be even bigger, maybe 58-42% I saw in one prediction. So...if the GOP loses one or both of these Senate elections, there will be NO DOUBT the elections were stolen, no doubt!
Or the polls were wrong.
Or the "vote was stolen so let's punish the local Republicans by not voting for them because they didn't protect Trump" crew is bigger than expected.
You can't just say "it's the way I want it or it was cheating." That's the way a spoiled child plays candyland, not the way the world works. There could be cheating, but you have to show the actual cheating, not just say "I thought it would be different, therefore it didn't happen."
And yeah, that works both ways. Wasn't this the conservative stance in 2016?
For the record, I think both Republicans will win, and I think that's probably better for America. That's what I want (although have you looked at those candidates? Not terribly inspiring). But if it doesn't happen, you've got to look at what actually did happen. You can't just decide ahead of time that it was rigged. There is incredible scrutiny on this race (just like there has been on their presidential election). It'll be watched extremely closely by both sides. Should be very secure.
I don't live in Georgia, but have family and friends who do, all of whom, like many of us here are VERY tuned-in to politics. They have cited sources and it is they who say anything other than a GOP sweep will mean voter fraud took place. Since I know them...know them to be honest and of the highest integrity, and I don't know you, I will stick with their assessment.
BTW, when I would say to any of them, like my brother, "Trump is gonna carry Georgia!" They would respond, "We hope so." They said back in August and September there was every indication it was gonna be very close. Then a week before the election my own brother told me he and some others were working as hard as they could to "change some minds." Members of his church, in which he is a deacon, especially the women, were not keen on voting for Trump. He later half-joked to me the 19th Amendment was a big mistake...shhh! he added.
Point is...my relatives nailed it. I still think Georgia was stolen from Trump, but the legit vote was very, very close, making it possible to steal it. And now, my relatives tell me, most of those anti-Trumpers of November 3rd are on-board for the two GOP candidates.
Another BTW, I posted after Barrett was confirmed that that would hurt Trump's reelection bid nationwide. Just read an interesting editorial, citing some exit-polling data, that many "in the middle" wanted Trump to appoint as many SC justices as possible, but never wanted him as POTUS, and they voted for him in 2016 just to keep Killary from being able to make the appointments. That mission accomplished three times, they wanted to also get rid of Trump. How much actual effect that had in the results is hard to say, but it had some.
I don't think it would have made that big of a change in the results, but I do wonder if that was a strategic blunder. If there is an option vacancy, you might drive some "hold their nose" voters to vote for Trump to make sure that seat went conservative that otherwise were more comfortable with voting the other way or not voting otherwise. Maybe. Of course, that might have driven motivation the other way, too. It was already a pretty high turnout though, so maybe it would have all washed out.
It also exposed some hypocrisy, but I doubt that changed anyone's vote.
How about just one REAL one! That would work. But, it's not so much the recounts, if all you do is recount the illegal ballots again. Ballot verification is needed first, then a real recount. In that case, Trump wins Georgia, and probably Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona too. Pennsylvania and Nevada? Not so sure, but I would still like to see the REAL count.
All while ignoring the Biden theft by Joe and his kid and his brother.

And what about Florida? Trump was ahead by over 5% with way over 90% of the vote in with mainly Panhandle votes (decidedly favoring Trump) still outstanding.
Then just a few minutes after the tardy Florida call was finally made, the premature Arizona call was rushed out with the on-air crew unaware and surprised. Elections that end with barely a 10,000 vote margin aren't called when 95% of the vote is in, much less when only half the vote is in as with Arizona.
Did Arnon Mishkin (disgraced head of the FNC polling unit) have access to the Dominion algorithm from Maricopa County that told him the system would make sure Biden won?
Y'all ever hear of Occam's Razor? Sometimes news agencies call election results because the information that they have shows that one candidate is going to win. Doesn't that make more sense than some kind of Fox conspiracy against their cash cow?
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN27K2BAQuote:
“Whether they were premature or right on time, the fact of the matter is that they were calling the races in the way races should be called, instead of through the lens that Trump would prefer,” said Frank Sesno, a former CNN correspondent and director of strategic initiatives at George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs. “That’s their job.”
From my perspective, and in my opinion, the "networks" did not call the races consistently from each state. I even said same thing to my wife when Arkansas was called in favor of Trump.. How could they call Arkansas for Trump when only 4% of the vote was in? It didn't make any sense.
I believe that each network/agency has a policy. I doubt they make them public, but I truly believe they're mostly applied consistently (within their frameworks). Of course I could be wrong, and naturally in specific situations you could argue that one policy hurts or helps a particular campaign, but generally I would expect it to all come out in the wash.
But in 100% full disclosure, I haven't watched election results come in since maybe the first part of the 2000 race. I find that kind of thing torturous. I vote early, and I'm going to vote either way. So I just go to bed and find out what happened in the morning.
I assumed it was just part of the general free-flowing discussion of the election overall.
If that was meant as an argument for a "stolen election" or "Trump really won" or "deep state caught red-handed" or "proof of fraud" or something, then I'd have the same questions. But I didn't take it that way. I assumed the Dominion thing was a joke.
No it wasn't that at all.. for me again it was the inconsistency, not only between networks but also within a single network. I switched back and forth between several different channels.. Some would call Kentucky with a certain percentage of votes in..(usually very low) but ok.. whatever.. and other networks would not have called Kentucky yet. Ok.. as you said.. different networks different procedures.. Yet on any given network.. they would not call a state one way or the other with a much higher vote count in.. 80% or more and huge difference in number of votes received. In my opinion the results desks of any given network did not seem to consistently apply the same logic when declaring a particular state's winner.
The decision desks use different methods for determining certainty. It isn’t about the amount of the vote that is in, but also where the vote is outstanding and what type of vote hasn’t been counted. For example, for states with large amounts of absentee ballots, they had to have a representative sample size of those types of ballots to know how they skewed.
Well, there is a reason networks don't start calling races until all polls have closed, it is thought it might deter voters who haven't yet voted in the western states, if it appears the outcome has been determined or is about to be. Thus there is a popular belief that networks and their calls DO INFLUENCE how people vote. Which, is a slightly different topic than calling some states when only 5% of the vote has been reported, and not calling states when 80%+ has been. The methodology used by the "election decision desks" at the various networks, aside, I do think there is an attempt to manipulate popular opinion re: if the results are legit.
For instance, let's say a network with a strong political lean (one way or the other) wanted to create doubt about an election's validity. Then they might start calling states for their preferred candidate as early as possible, showing a scoreboard of EC votes, and claiming a victory for said candidate. Then, when all votes are counted and if their guy did not win...well, then, there must have been fraud! That is the only reason I can think of for knowingly calling states' results before they really know.
I think it's financial. It's all about having the "scoop" and being the first to call it "right."
Which is really the most important thing from a news perspective (and important for keeping public trust high). I feel like after 2000 they all tapped the brakes a little bit. At least on calling the whole thing when there was still a chance it could go the other way.
You'd hope that the networks would explain (and that people would listen) and I think as long as it's clear what they're saying and what they're not saying and the facts are correct we should be good even if they have different philosophies. Like I think it's ok for Fox news to say "we're calling FL for Trump, lets put those electoral votes up on our big scoreboard here" as long as they're explaining what their logic is ("now, not all the votes have been counted here folks, but the lead is too big based on registered voters or all we're missing are rural counties that tend to go red" or whatever).
But as we've seen, probably no matter how it's called (which is really just real-time predicting/reporting) the losing side (either one) is going to be mad about it. It's one thing to be perplexed or curious about the system, but there are people who really do think that Fox news has it in for Trump and none of their news can be trusted anymore because they didn't report what they wanted to hear (or what he wanted them to hear and continues to insist is true). That's unnerving.
Because even though Fox News ended up being correct, which you would think would vindicate them, those people no longer trust (even) them.
All media sources would like to be the first to call it correctly, but none want to be the one to call a state prematurely incorrectly. The latter created more harm than the former creates good.
The calls are made based on the data and they need enough representative data sets for a state to make the confidence above the decision desk’s required confidence threshold. Thus, it isn’t the total percent of vote counted that is most important. They need samples from urban and rural areas, they need total vote numbers for enough areas, they need to have enough of each type of vote (early vote, day of, absentee, mail in)...
Then it’s like poker - you count the outs and compute a probability. To what degree must the outstanding vote differ from the currently counted vote to change the outcome, and evaluate whether there any statistically plausible scenarios for it to happen.
For example, Pennsylvania took a long time to call because there were enough provisional ballots that if they skewed heavily to Trump in Philly and Pittsburg (and were not disproportionately Biden votes like the other votes in the city) then there was a scenario where Trump could overtake Biden when all the provisionals were counted. Once they had a large enough sample size of provisionals to know that wasn’t the case, they called Pennsylvania.
