Agreed.
Re: 2020 Season - Covid Edition
FIU has canceled their game at UTEP on Saturday, Nov. 7 due to ongoing COVID-19 issues. No word on if it will be rescheduled.

UTEP can't get anybody to play 'em. Last week UNT cancelled on 'em, and this week it's FIU.
And no, it's no coincidence that these team's cancelling the games are cancelling ROAD games against much improved opponents.

Thanks for this. To be honest it has been hard to keep up with all of this. I know UTEP-FIU is off for this weekend, postponed right before this list came out. Are there other games not on this list that were missed?
Re: 2020 Season - Covid Edition
Louisville - Virginia game pushed back one week. Louisville with virus issues.

....So UNT refused to travel to El Paso last week because they feared catching COVID in El Paso. They openly stated so. Furthermore, UNT tried desperately to get UTEP to move that game to Denton, TX, but the Miners refused. Now, only 5 days later, the same UNT AD who offered to pay UTEP to move their game to Denton has now "postponed" UNT's game against LA Tech this week. For COVID reasons.
Does anybody else see the irony in this?
It sounds like it's safer to travel to El Paso than it is to Denton.
