That was another one they opened, but it closed recently. I have been to the original one in the last 6 months and haven't heard that it closed. I hope not.

I ate at Newk's and Orange Leaf this evening. Both places would do great in Ruston.

The group, which is currently a multi-unit franchisee of Buffalo Wild Wings, is bringing their vast restaurant experience to Newk's with plans to open four locations in Baton Rouge and Lafayette and five additional restaurants in Michigan.

Different owners...orange leaf people I know very well... They have Ruston ties...at least 2 of owners were born in Ruston...La Tech Alums as well..people that own newks in Monroe and opening in Ruston are not related. They may be talking and planning together, but are not same owners.. Hope this helps..
