I think "location" has the biggest to do with it...some businesses just aren't made to succeed in a downtown environment. For a business (like a coffee shop) to be successful, it has to rely on ample parking close to the doors, drive-thrus, and/or lots of walking traffic....Frothy Monkey had none of these.

Someone very close to the situation told me a different story about Frothy Monkey. I was told that it had nothing to do with traffic, sales, or competition. He said it was something, probably legal, that he is not at liberty to disclose. He said it will be public knowledge before long.
What is going in between RAW and Pfaff? It looks like it could be two different businesses.
Last I heard Baldwin's Jewelry bought the old Lewis's and is making it into 2-3 businesses, one of which Baldwin's will move into. Don't know what's going in the other.
