I know, I found this thread, and posted a comment on it; if you look at the original post of this particular thread, it is in 2014 ;)

I've noted this before. Looking at Rivals for the UTEP 2017 commitments, they show 17 signed and only one that I see was pursued by another D1 school. Most of those signed were signed at the last minute. It makes one wonder about them.
