I think the Regal Blues dancing right by ULL's huddle was my favorite part of the game. I couldn't stop laughing.

I didn't hear the "crown jewel" comment, but certainly a great job by all our guys running this game.
Let me add this... ULL deserved every little shot of disrespect we gave them. There was no shortage of "University of Louisiana" heard over the PA in Laffy last year.
Having been inside the stadium pregame, the comment was "Louisiana Tech is the 'Crown Jewel' of the University of Louisiana System". There was no "crowning" comment.
Something along the lines of "Lady's and gentlemen welcome to Joe Aillet Stadium on the campus of Louisiana Tech University, the crown jewel of the University of Louisiana system. Tonight's matchup etc...."Quote:
