In a big way. 5:30 traffic jams for a 6:00 game prove that.
I hope the Downtown Ruston peeps continue to grow what they started last year. LaTech and Ruston have so much potential in working together. Many don't realize that our campus practically butts up to downtown now.

We did the recommended restaurant area parking at the North Texas game and took the shuttle bus to the stadium. Shuttle drops everybody off at the basketball arena then you have to walk about two country miles over the interstate to the stadium. Yes we have it exceptionally good and if folks would travel to some of the other stadiums they would really understand how good we have it.

There was some talk of adding some RV spots to accommodate the waiting list. Do you know if that is in the plan?

One year I attended the Alumni BBQ there in the parking lot across the interstate from the stadium. We parked in that lot and were very close to the walkway. It was a little hike but tolerable. Rice still has the best. You can park on the side where you're sitting and never have far to walk. Of course it's never a big crowd for us (I think the stadium has been reduced to about 40,000 from over 70,000). I guess if they play A&M or Texas it would probably be full.
