McNeese,SLU and SMiss are open on Tuesday May 9th. (Is this a testing week for semester schools?)
SMiss is open on Tuesday May 2nd.

The concern is VERY valid. Finishing fifth in conference will still leave Tech on the bubble. And, the committee will be asked to pick between Tech and teams like Texas 36, Texas A&M 46, Oklahoma 38, Tenn 48, Okla St 43, Conn 42, UCLA 49, Miss 44, etc.....

They don't look at how you finish the regular season. Not sure where you are getting that.

Ok, hope you're right. If Tech has "good enough" RPI and finishes 7th or 8th in conference, you still think they'll win a fourth bid for CUSA? Just don't see that happening.

It is based on the committee having to compare Tech to P5 teams that finish with the same "area code" RPI but also finish lower in their conference. There are many of these teams.

Last year the regular season runner-up was left out due to RPI (50s?) in favor of us....

Ok, maybe I'm over analyzing. Fun to do, though.

Marshall went 21-9 in conference, 34-21 overall with a 59 rpi and sat at home...

If our RPI can hover where its at and we finish strong (two wins in the tourney), I think we are ok

I agree DFM. If we can win all 4 series(a sweep this weekend would be great), and win 2 to 3 games in tourney, I think we have a very strong chance. We can NOT lose out early in tourney. A win against ULL on road would be great for more than 1 reason.

Yes, they helped us last night by beating Texas. We need them to win against McNeese so our game in Lafayette will help us. Regardless we need them to finish strong and be in the Top50 to help our Top50 record.
