Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
my post was meant to point out the difference in budget -- we do so much with so little. We are David against Goliath-- I am proud that we are competitive against the Big money programs-- I remember the days when we went into these games as 40+ underdogs-- those days are gone ....

So they are saying they werent using their best for an entire half.

Essentially yes, they said that Griggs was the better QB in camp, but was injured for a week, so the coach gave the nod to the QB with a few starts last year. After the change, SoMiss almost came back against Kentucky (they scored most of the points with Griggs in)

Negligible. HogDawg could pay it off with the change in his sofa.

We tried hard to hire Mush when he was coach in waiting at Texas. He set us on Dooley.

You're looking at the wrong person. At least, I hope you are. :icon_razz:

Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
S. Carolina's offense is all about WR #1 Samuel and TE #81 Hurst. We need to:
1. Cover those two receivers tightly,
2. Keep the QB contained (loves to scramble on 3rd down),
3. Not turn the ball over
Handle those three keys and LA Tech likely wins this football game.

Samuel is injured. He won't be playing next week, which seems to be a big deal.

Deebo Samuel broke his ankle Saturday.
Re: Week 4: @South Carolina (9/23)
Samuel was their main deep threat WR. I saw him go out with the ankle injury in the Kentucky game, but it looked like he came back in later. Cover that TE Hurst!
