I have confidence in the decision Adam makes to get this game in. Looks like we could spend a long time getting it in if we wait until 2:00. Tomorrow does not look good either.
With 2 wins we've already accomplished as much as I had hoped for for the weekend. Game 2 yesterday was a great comeback offensively, but our pitching and pitcher management is a head scratcher. Too many walks and too long to make a move.
Looks like if we push it forward to 6:00-7:00 the forecast is better

Softball just went into a lightning delay, so a 2:00 baseball first pitch would not have been possible.

Edit at 4:40 - another patch of cells just passed through Ruston. These things are just randomly building in the south an moving NE. Maybe later in the day it will ease up. I'm sure that's why they went with 7:00 instead of 6:00

Tornado warning went away almost as fast as it was issued.
Things may not look bad for a start after 8:00, but hard to see it getting going before then.
From my perspective things are looking less and less likely that there’ll be a game 3 today. There’s lightning in Ruston now and raining with more rain predicted to be around in patches until midnight. To me there’s nothing worse than a game delayed by lightning and then played in pieces.

Rice has really went into a slump the last few years . Although if they make the tournament they could go on another tear again.
