Who is starting at QB for the Bulldogs in our first conference game of 2022?

Looks like the answer to the question is unlikely to be Anthony.

Right now I think Downing has the lead followed by McNeil and Lyddy

After spring ball, it's officially still close, right? At least publicly. Still feeling good about our predictions?



Is Holstein still on the team? Doesn't appear on the roster but I didn't see a transfer portal notification (he may have just given up football to be a student or something of course).

Holstein is gone. QB room is Downing, McNeil, Lyddy, and Brister. I believe Brister is not on scholarship.

After the Spring game last year, I thought we HAD to get a grad transfer. This year, I don't feel that way. Downing was the best of the bunch imo.

That said - if the season starts going really south, I have a serious talk with Lyddy and his parents about throwing him in the fire for 4 games to see how he responds and possibly burning his RS year if things improve to see if he is the future -
