2024 Super 1 Foods CUSA Baseball Championship

I wish they would have tried to put an 8:45 Game 7. I know it’s about the money and keeping the 2 game sessions together, but if they want the tournament complete with all 15 games played, then they need to be creative.

On why the game last night was not called for Tech, I understand. To me this is a championship and the only ending is 10-run rule or completed game. We had multiple chances to add runs and complete the game in 7, but didn’t.

My weather app shows Rain @ 3pm & 7pm, but no thunderstorms. I hope we don’t have to turn this into a single elimination tournament.

I found CUSA tournament rules online when we played and won at USM. Wish I had saved them. Can’t find them now. CUSA’s site is as bad as Tech’s for finding information.

Bates got his bullpen in and will be well rested for a save tomorrow.

Don’t like this schedule change personally…oh well Dawgs just need to win tomorrow and play Saturday. I expect it to be SHSU tomorrow which along with DBU should be our toughest opposition this week.

Liberty clobbered SHSU; I posted to expect surprises although nothing would surprise me. But, this result does. I had SHSU as my dark horse to reach the title game. They still can but it’s going to be really tough now.
