my point is, whoever is behind center needs game time experience. hence, that is why TB is back there now. however, it sure as heck has not helpped since the first week vs MSU. sending anyone in when all hope is lost helps no one. OL doesn't care, RB's don't pick up assignments, WR's jog & round off routes.
if we want to get better, we need to take the proper steps. hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, opportunities will present thenselves for a little more sucess.

I think we should start alternating QBs every other series. Jenkins can't do any worse than Bennett. I think I could complete 30%.

Yes but Jenkins will throw INT's. That is the only reason he hasn't been thrown in the game yet. If they could count on him not to turn it over he would play. His play of Wed shows why he ain't playing.

Bennet will throw them also. He has had one taken back for a TD and several others that DB's have dropped. (Drops have helped and hurt him)

I agree 100%. I'm sure he is a good guy but to me Jenkins is NOT a long term answer so getting him PT is unimportant to me. If Hardin can't beat him out--which would shock me BTW-- we are in BIG, BIG, trouble.

Not many going to be intercpeted when they are thrown in the ground.

Bennet has thrown three balls into the endzone that should have been intercpted. He got lucky throwing to people who were covered.

I've seen him throw more than 3 that would have been tds had they been caught.

Who knows how many had he gotten sufficient protection from the OL.

Who knows how many had there been a different play called.

Who knows how many if we weren't playing a top 25 team.

Who knows...

I don't have a major problem with that plan as long as we have a shot to win 7. As soon as we don't, we should play next year people including more than one QB even if it to give next year's back up experience.

I just don't think we can win 7 with Bennett unless the play calling and/or his accuracy gets better in a hurry.
