So lucky to not live in Italy (universal healthcare). Elderly and those with underlying conditions will either be left to recover without treatment or at the least be screened to determine if they are worth saving. Rationing and death panels, that’s what liberals, Dems, and socialist want.

We are on the same path as Italy currently, they are just 10 days ahead of us. Hopefully people take heed of the social distancing instead of following Trump’s lead.

Everything is closed for a month. If people are responsible and abide by these social distancing directives, I think we will look back in a month and say, “hhmmm, looks like the number of cases started falling about 2 weeks ago.”

Canada just closed its borders to all "foreigners"... Didn't realize Trudeau was so racist and xenophobic.. Where's the liberal outrage???

The feds just acknowledged today that the best case scenario is we reach a peak in 1 month. And the pessimistic case is peak in 3 months.

We have several contacts who work in clinics and hospitals across the country. They have all mentioned that the number of negative flu tests this year, since October, is staggering. They feel this virus has been here all winter.

Remember, symptoms appear 2-14 days after exposure. People that will be going to the hospital 10 days from now include some folks that already have it today. Folks that have been hospitalized stay for a while - at least a week.

Low Energy Trump is an odd sight.

I have seen this theory a lot and I think we would have a lot more dead elderly if that were the case. The healthy man in New Orleans in his mid-40's who is in intensive care is a current "worst case" example. He has had fever since Mar 2 or so which set incubation time up somewhere in the Mardi Gras time frame. I believe he was tested for flu multiple times and is now in ICU. I don't think it has been here all winter because we are not seeing worst case situations until now. This is different.

We will know by next week.

Or, perhaps you'd like to know who comes into your house, and to be certain they do not want to kill you, and perhaps you'd like them to contribute to the household costs. Maybe you see that someone steeped in the philosophy of MS13, white supremacy or Hamas might not mesh well in your household. Perhaps you'd like to run a background check and understand the motives of the person you will be sharing a home with.

My apologies if you happen to be a MS13 white supremacist that belongs to Hamas. My intention was not to be critical of your beliefs.

If we knew the number of elderly who passed away from flu like symptoms but tested negative for flu, it would be helpful.
