It is not that increasing oil price helps America, but it (as well as a normalization in gasoline prices) is an indicator that economic activity is picking up in America. Demand is coming back, which means things are improving overall - not just in Texas and Louisiana.

And why, pray tell, is economic activity supposedly picking up? (I will concede that notion for the sake of argument). Could it be because all the blue mayors/guvnars are starting to reopen economies because Trump is gone? Yeah...that would be the only reason, which drives home the point, as we already knew, it was all political.
