She just looked at me and said.....y'all better start over again, because it still isn't working. I told her the next home game is Southern Miss and we should win that game. She then said....that is what you said about Tulane, Army, and North Texas. I had no reply. :(
I don't either. The ups and downs (many more downs) are making this season really difficult. After the Tulane debacle, I was really UP after going to the Kansas game because we played so much better. HOPE. Then there was the Army whipping and it was DOWN. Then after beating and way outplaying UTEP I was cautiously UP and fully expected a win against NTSU. HOPE. Then Saturday and what a DOWN and blah game. I haven't left a game before the end since the early 80's. I even sat until the end so late that sub-freezing night against Fresno for the alma mater a few years ago. I HAD DECIDED TO LEAVE EARLY SATURDAY BUT LOST TRACK OF TIME. I have NEVER EVEN WANTED TO LEAVE EARLY BEFORE, BUT SATURDAY SOMETHING WAS REALLY MISSING. NTSU was energetic and very aggressive and high and celebrated and encouraged each other while we just drifted through the motions. Just depressing.
I'm now really worried about our future and what multiple years of this will do to our program. Now in my mid-60's I just don't want to blow that many years. Thank God men's basketball is kicking off THIS WEEK.
But you can bank it: I WILL BE AT THE USM AND TULSA GAMES. GO DAWGS!!!

If you want a thread to die, hire Skip Holtz to direct it.

The 104 was the coolest aircraft ever in the Air Force inventory.
Re: If you want a thread to die
I'll also be at the Southern Miss and Tulsa games. If the Dawgs had been at 4-3 at this point, I would have gone to Houston for the Rice game and to San Antonio for the UTSA game. Now, that is out. I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to watch 2 losses. Maybe....next year. I have been saying next year for a long, long time.

Thought that was a Star Fighter. Rocket with a man in it.

We have both in Ruston so either would do.
