10/24 Tech @ UTSA (7 PM) - Game

This is the worst Tech football team we've seen in a long time. And I DON'T think it's the athletes. It's the coaching. Pure and simple, our coaches are not ready for prime time. They are pathetic.

We actually had a chance to come back and win this game on that last drive. We only needed about 25 more yards --two reasonably successful pass plays-- and we'd have been in Barnes' FG range. But our coaches are such losers they couldn't get it done. So many bad coaching decisions were made in this game, I can't even name them all.

Allen should have been given 2 drives minimum if Holtz expected him to play lights out and lead a game winning drive.

Bonkers decision. And a horrible decision by Allen to dump that ball off.

Not renewing my season tickets next year. I don’t see any hope for this team getting any better. There isn’t a brain trust and there’s no leadership. Skippy is completely inept in every aspect of being the head coach.

I thought UTSA offense was bad. Omg this was horrible. Be interesting to see how Holtz spins it in the press.....I agree with Hogdog, we suck!!!!!!!really bad!!!!!!!

In his post game comments, Holtz really does take getting beat well. That’s his biggest problem, he has no ambition especially in trying to over achieve. If he doesn’t then his team can’t possibly.

Might be the worst team I have seen in my 40 years of fandom. Yikes, we suck bad this year!

Post game with Teddy: Skip says we have to get better. Coaches have to get better. Boiler plate coach talk.

At this stage of a coach's tenure, we should consistently ranked in the Top 25. I hear no emotion, anger, disappointment in Holtz post game. He gets his salary no matter win or lose. What a gig.

I was wondering why I bothered to tune into the post game interview when I decided to never do it again so long as skippy is the interviewee. Is skippy really being broadcast on the radio if I'm not listening ?? Nah, don't think so.

On another subject,Tyler Grubbs, the commentator made comment that Grubbs had a waiver for transfer request denied before the season started. Did any one else here this during the second quarter at about the 1:22:45 mark (3:15 left in quarter)? Maybe that has been discussed on here before but this was the first time I became aware of that.

They are blistering Skip on the Z107.5 Call In Show. "Seeing the same things over and over". "Not using the talent". One of the hosts' father commented "this offense is very very conservative'. "There is no killer instinct".
