No, but they can sell pizzas without it.

Or maybe it is about how Jesus associated and used the "cast the first stone" rule when being around others. I can't draw a direct comparison, because Jesus did not sell things. Joseph might have built some things for minorities and the dis-enfranchised, though (or ones that the church would want dis-enfranchised).
Again, how far should this be carried? No selling to divorcees, those that have had per-marital sex, those that eat shellfish, or even another religion no selling to Christians? What about medical care for all those.
Anyway, the response was appropriate. In our American society, those being discriminated against have the right to stand up for their rights and take on supporters for their cause. It usually works out eventually. It did for African Americans. I guess we just have to keep repeating history. I am just glad it is attacked early and not get to the point of Selma or, Christ forbid, concentration camps. Although there is some nut case preacher in California that wants to introduce shooting all Gay persons in the head by law. Yeah, California of all places. ;) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/0...n_6786776.html
The Indiana law is a last ditch effort by some conservatives to legalize discrimination. This is very likely to to cause trouble for GOP candidates that support this.
Sports require rules. Without rules no sport is worth watching.
Life has rules given by God. We don't always follow them, but we know what they are.
How can a person who enjoys sports agree with some moral absolutes given by God and disagree with others?
So, are we talking Old Testament or New?
Then, we circle back around to the old argument of interpretation, which never works on here, because I don't have time to argue with a 90 to 10 in favor of there is no interpretation (which still truly baffles me).
Don't forget, there are a LOT of Christians that believe in Gay rights.
I digress....... I am out. One can only "present" a case when 90% of the participants in the conversation are so set on what they believe, due to their culture, that they will not hear another viewpoint. Just not enough time to post that much and keep up. I stand on what I believe. I will always stand for protection of those that are hurt by the majority. I will leave it at that.
Have a great one and know that we DO agree on supporting Tech athletics! That is something, anyway. :D
Liberal rule bending is acceptable when it benefits their ideals of the day.
Equal rights means all people are treated equal. LGBT and Blacks do not want equal they want to be treated special or superior. Do you ever bother to read the signs on private business that states "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone"? Well that only pertains to those not in a "Special Class" or as we like to call them White Straight people. Try getting a scholarship from the United Negro Fund. Talk about discrimination. Don't give me that ALL PEOPLE EQUAL crap because that's not what they want!!
