Even though we lost, I wish I had been able to go to the game. I'll bet Rhino's Chile was excellent.

And it was even better as we sat around the fire listening to DogtorEvil and Guisslapp explain the process of making good beer. We even solved the energy crisis and got an investment to from RhinoDawg. I was there to witness one of the greatest collections of intellect to every gather around a campfire in a parking lot.

Not much to do now except look forward to next year. Although, we do have one game left...to be played for pride.

Randy, we missed you Saturday at the TAG tent, but in retrospect, you were wise to skip this one. It was a miserable day. (The weather and the game). That cold, damp wind would have probably sent you to the hospital.

Definitely was a night for the healthy and hardy. The northwest wind kept creeping stronger, especially in the second half when there was an occasional gust.
As always, I was there in OO for the post game alma mater. I always hate to see the season end, even this one, tho it's probably time to give it up. Sure seems like Kansas (where we really seemed to play well in spite of the catastrophic ending) and the temporary optimism it brought was soooo long ago. I still think we had the players to be at least 8 - 4 with our schedule.
But although the season is ending, hey, we can keep this thread ALIVE!!
Re: If you want a thread to die
I was sure looking forward to going to SA since my wife and I hadn't been in several years (probably almose twenty). But no way. Coker and UTSA are really going to embarass us.

I am POSITIVE it was the best cobbler the judges NEVER tasted.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Oh yeah, we blew up my grill too. It was glorious. Better than the 4th of July.
