Last night the light bulb in my freezer burned out. I couldn't turn the bulb and was afraid it would break off in the socket, trying to get it out. So, I used the internet and found the solution. The solution is: use a hairdryer on high, blow the hot air around the base of the light bulb...then it should unscrew. Worked like a charm!!! I got the old bulb out and put in the new one. :)

I am now an honorary Sigma Nu. Last week they had 57 come back for the final 2 night of official visits before bid day. I smoked 100 lbs. of brisket for those 2 nights. They bid 41 and got 35! That is an outstanding, unprecedented, unheard of success rate - I am sure it was the brisket.

Thank God I didn't hear the scheme. But its bizarreness is almost unimaginable since I recall once, after a Tech football game (in the 80s), the Dogtor leaping from the car I was driving as we were stopped at a RR crossing and climbing into the car in front of us filled with girls. He may have even climbed in through the sunroof. It all turned out GREAT. But had there been cell phones back then, who knows.

It was about 2:00AM when we got out of the stadium parking lot. My best friend and I had ridden to the game with my brother who lives in Shreveport. So, we had to go back to my brother's house to get our vehicles. I had to stop along the way out of Shreveport to get a large ice-tea so I could stay awake. Then, I headed to Natchitoches.
