Well, I could offer a theory/scenario where that would be possible, but it would come off looking like a script for one of those movies like "Doom" or "Resident Evil."

More likely the Chicoms knew they had something and were trying to do something with it. Until more real information can be learned, I subscribe to the speculation of that goofy woman researcher who was kicked out of Canada and Chapel Hill. Remember also, that we (the US) knew about the types of research she was doing and the obummer admin cut off the funding for her and her team at UNC. But, allowed her to take the data/records with her and she ended up at the lab in Wuhan.

What do you mean “knew they had something”? That they created something? How else would they have something?

The researcher conspiracy theory is the one that has been debunked because of the genetics of the virus.

I mean in the lab, probably with wretches forced to be guinea pigs, they were experimenting with deadly, contagious viruses. They were killing people with it, in the lab, and thinking wow, if we can weaponize this we'll have something. I suppose they would hope they could quietly introduce a virus into an enemy population and sit back and watch it wreck that country. They wouldn't shoot a missile with the virus in a warhead so that the world would know where it came from.

The genetics of the virus doesn't debunk a damn thing! Surely no one is that stupid! Surely...

Your logic doesn’t make sense. When would they have had this naturally occurring, not lab made virus to experiment on people? The problem with your theory is that (1) you wouldn’t know whether it is virulent enough to make a bioweapon until people got sick with it, and (2) once it made that genetic evolution to jump to people so you could possibly have this knowledge, COVID spreads super fast. Thus, by the time you would see the virus and know that it would make a good bioweapon it would already be everywhere. It is the genetics of the virus that dictate these effects and the genetics indicate it was natural evolving, not lab created.
